About Lumont

Lumont is a Copenhagen-based curator of vintage lighting, table objects, sculptural accents and seasonal pieces. Founded by Cathrine de Lichtenberg, the shop grew out of a decade of working with interiors, colour and materials, and a steady belief that thoughtful objects make a room feel like home.

What Lumont curates

The selection focuses on vintage Italian lighting, Murano glass, ceramics, silver-plated tabletop pieces and one-of-a-kind decorative objects, alongside a tight edit of new pieces that already feel timeless. Seasonal moments — Easter pyramids, candleholders, Christmas decorations — return each year as small, gift-worthy editions. Browse the current selection in the shop.

One-of-a-kind, honestly described

Most pieces in Lumont are vintage and unique. Each is photographed in daylight, measured and described with honest condition notes — patina, soft marks of age and the small imperfections that come with old glass, brass and ceramic are part of the character, not hidden away.

Careful packing and worldwide shipping

Every order is packed by hand in Copenhagen and shipped tracked and insured. Fragile lighting and oversized vintage pieces are crated or custom-packed. See shipping & delivery for delivery times and how Lumont handles fragile items.

Personal sourcing

Looking for something specific? Lumont also sources vintage pieces on request — a particular designer, era, colour or scale — through a trusted network of European dealers, estates and auctions. Start a sourcing brief.
